Bella and Luna had their first official vet visit at Aashne Animal Hospital near Jon's parent's house. They were checkout to find they both had good temperatures, no cleft pallets, and no heart murmurs. It was a pretty "scary" car ride over for them (first time in their cat carrier for so long too), so they were a little nervous when we finally go there:
"Why are these people sticking things up our behinds??"
This is exhausting...
Upon reporting to us that the kitties appear to be in good health, the vet made a comment that the "little boy" looks good. Uhhhh....we thought we had two little girls??
So we now have a gender-confused kitty. We actually really cannot tell for the next 2+ weeks if it is a boy or girl because s/he is so small, so for now "Bella" will still be "Bella"...but may have to change to "Bello" or something else...

ReplyDeletethis is very similar to what happened to my cat we thought we had a girl and went to the vet to get "her" fixed just to find out that it was really a him. and he was actually a few months old too.
