Day 18: Big ol' belly!

Luna and Bello went a long time without eating today - the longest they've ever gone. 9-3.30 pm. Needless to say, when Amanda got home, they were both really hungry - and both fighting for the bottle.

They ate a LOT every two hours for the rest of the day. At night, Amanda did a double feed - where she had a bottle in each hand doing her best to feed both kitties. Bello did well, but Luna gets squirly and she really likes attention - so she likes to be held and fed... which means only have one hand feeding her = no go.

At night, Amanda let them eat until their hearts content... earlier in the day she had been stopping them after a while. Bello was weighed around 4.30 pm at 8.7-9 oz. At night, after the last feeding, she weighed in at 9.7-10 oz.

Day 16: Food and play! (Sunday, 19 April)

Both kitties are eating very well. Bello's eye looks a LOT better, but still has a little bit of draining so we're still putting ointment in it. We'll do weight updates later tonight.

Luna is starting to really play. Yesterday she was pouncing on the shadows and leaping about her space.

Bello is happy and full :)
